Every construction defect dispute presents a unique set of circumstances requiring the experience and versatility our construction litigation team offers. LGWM’s Construction Practice Group includes experienced attorneys who understand the issues and complexities involving building projects.

LGWM has represented developers, project owners, general contractors, subcontractors and vendors in construction defect disputes. Our experience includes high-rise office buildings, hotels and resorts, parking decks, parking lots, recreational lakes, multi-unit and single residential projects and municipal projects (roads, parks, schools and government buildings). We counsel construction clients in risk management and litigation avoidance, contract drafting and negotiation, bidding and construction phase issues, and insurance coverage and surety/bond issues. Our construction law group has extensive experience throughout the Southeastern United States.

Getting paid on a construction project is sometimes the most difficult part. Construction liens sometimes are the only way a contractor and sub-contractor can secure payment from a project owner. Our Construction Practice Group has extensive experience enforcing and defending lien disputes in Courts throughout the Southeastern United States.
