Bret practices in LGWM’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group. Bret counsels insurance clients on a variety of complex coverage issues, including matters arising from directors and officers claims, professional liability claims, errors and omissions claims, and commercial property and casualty claims. Bret has represented insurers in insurance-related litigation in numerous jurisdictions throughout the U.S.
Bret represents professional clients in the insurance industry, including errors and omissions actions against insurance agents and brokers.
Bret also assists insurance carriers’ Special Investigative Units (SIU) in investigating suspicious fire and theft claims, including conducting Examinations Under Oath (EUO) and preparing opinion letters regarding coverage.
Before joining LGWM, Bret clerked for Judge Jack Wilson on the Mississippi Court of Appeals.
