Jon Scoggins is a Junior Associate in LGWM’s Pensacola, Florida office, where he practices across the firm’s Architects & Engineers, Construction, General Liability, and Professional Liability Groups. He represents architects, engineers, design-builders, general contractors, and subcontractors in a broad range of complex construction disputes involving industrial, residential, and commercial projects.
Jon began his legal career as a paralegal for a solo practitioner, gaining hands-on experience before attending the University of Mississippi School of Law. There, he graduated third in his class and distinguished himself through his work with the Low-Income Housing Clinic and the Mississippi Innocence Project. He also worked part-time as a legal researcher for the National Sea Grant Law Center, deepening his understanding of federal, environmental, and regulatory law.
