Zac is an Associate in the firm’s Birmingham, AL office with over five years of experience practicing law in Alabama. Zac practices in LGWM’s Insurance Coverage and Professional Liability Practice Groups. After graduating law school at the top of his class, Zac began his career by representing insurance carriers on the interpretation and application of various insurance policies, including general liability, personal and commercial automobile liability, homeowners liability, and personal lines. He defended insurance carriers against claims of bad faith, represented carriers in declaratory judgment actions, and defended direct claims against insureds both in state and federal court.
Before joining LGWM, Zac was a senior litigation associate for a multistate plaintiff’s firm where represented individuals in claims involving insurance bad faith, professional liability, and personal and commercial auto liability. He oversaw litigation in that firm’s Birmingham office and pursued numerous cases to a jury verdict. Zac uses the experience he gained working “both sides” of the courtroom to provide thorough, yet practical, advise to clients throughout all stages of a claim.
